Miss Elizabeth Ashe, reputed illegitimate daughter of William Windham Ashe, sub-governor to the Duke of Cumberland, and Princess Amelia Sophia Eleanor, is the subject of considerable research, the results of which can be found in a Research Paper at:
Elizabeth married twice:
(1) with Edward Wortley Montagu, who was still legally married, so it was a bigamous relationship on his part, with whom she had one son:

(2) with Captain Robert Faulknor, R.N., in November 1761, with whom she had five children, with at least two sons and one daughter surviving, but the most famous was Captain Robert Faulknor, named after hs father, and, like his father, becoming a Captain in the Royal Navy.
